Well it was xmas here yesterday, but I hope those that are still celebrating it are having a good time. Did you all get what you wanted?
I had an awesome xmas with lots of lovely gifts. It was also Zeus' birthday, not that he seems impressed about it. XD I'll have to take some photos of him tonight.

I'm a work today, which I think working at 6am on Boxing Day should be illegal. I'm hoping to spend most of the time sewing though, so that will make time go by faster.

Most of those things I was waiting on the other week have arrived. Liulfir's head is here, but not the rest of her bits and pieces so it will be some time before you see her. Alice is back but I'm not happy with her faceup at all, so once again it will be some time before you see her, as I need to get her faceup fixed/redone/something. And as a xmas present to myself, I put a DD Anne Lotus Near on layaway. He won't be home till March at the earliest, but he is so cool, I can't wait to get him. Been wanting one for awhile, and when I saw she was making the last ever edition of them, I knew I had to get one or I'd regret it.

Seeing as xmas is less than a week away, and I know I'm insanely busy at the moment so I'm sure everyone else is, I'm going to open up nominations for this months best of bjd photography now. I may also let it run for a day or so into Jan, depending on how many nominations I get. So if you're going away for xmas or are just like me and have to work most of the next couple of weeks (6am shift on Boxing Day T_________T), then get those nominations in early!

So I have a bit of a list of things I'm waiting for at the moment, and I'm rather excited for things to arrive.

For those who don't watch *Nezumi-chuu, I commissioned her to make a black leather pauldron for Liulfir, Ophelia's bodyguard:


It looks so awesome, I can't wait for it to arrive ;3;. I'm also waiting on Liulfir's head itself. She'll be an Elfdoll Vivien on some taller body, most likely a Dollmore Model Doll. I was considering the new Souldoll Zenith girl body, but it has crazy knees, so I'll pass.

Not that many of you would notice cause I only take pics of her every few months, but Alice has been away. I had planned for her to get a faceup back in Oct, but just as I was about to send her off =prophetek lost his job, so I had to put it on hold til I could be sure our financial situation was okay enough to pay for it. Bread was totally understanding about it, and I sent her off last week, and she'd already been painted within a day! I got her to change a couple of things, but she's just sent me the final pics and she's looking awesome. I loved her old faceup, but she'd had it for over 3 years so it was rather gunky (her head was so yellow in comparison to her body which had barely aged, just because of the MSC. Looked so much better once I scrubbed her clean.), so it had to go. Her new faceup is similar, but I think she's looking more mature. Which is good in a way I guess cause she's meant to be 18 by now. So she'll hopefully arrive next week, and I'll be sure to take pics of her. :3

I also got Pavel some jointed hands from Soom, which will arrive sometime in the next couple of months. It's awesome, he's gone from being a floating head in the past couple of years to pretty much complete in the space of a few months. He has his own body, some new outfits, his hands are on the way, as well as his gloves. All he needs is for me to mod some claws on the hands and his wife and we're set XD

Oh, and I'm waiting on buttons to make Liulfir's coat. XD Tiny metal/metallic buttons are so fucking hard to find, and so expensive when you do find them DX

So yes, lots of things I'm excited to see arriving at my doorstep X3

This post was really rather pointless. I'm off to ~muffinbitch7's house today to make doll lingerie.. or attempt it rather. We'll see how it goes.

I have been sitting here at work beading a doll dress for hours, and I think my eyes have shrunk into their sockets. The sadder part is that I've been working on this outfit for days between calls at work, and I probably have another 40+ hours worth of beading left on it.

This better come out awesome once it's finished x.x


Anyone else get stuck into those projects where you stop partway through and think "Why did I think this was a good idea?"

Cause I'm bored, and you know when I'm bored, I like to make posts like these.

I have so many lovely watchers, and from the comments and faves I get, many seem to have a favourite doll they like to see. I could do another "who's your favourite?" poll, but I prefer a bit of conversation. So I was wondering, who is your favourite and why? Is it their look, something I may have written about them, you have a thing for gay elf vampires, etc?

And if you don't want to answer that question, what are you doing on the weekend? I am working T_T
