Some comments on my last picture reminded me how rarely I photograph these two together.
For those that don't know (and I'm sure there's a lot of you), Phoenix and Ophelia are siblings. Ophelia is four years his senior, and with their mother dead and their father estranged, they're the only family each other has. A note on their differing looks: Phoenix was born with blue eyes, but they changed to purple when he was turned. Being the vain thing he is, he dyes his hair to match >.> They're both half elf/half shapeshifter, but Phoenix failed to inherit his mother's shapeshifting abilities. Ophelia tends to use it mainly as a form of camouflage, altering her appearance to avoid being recognised. She does like to be able to change her hair without dying it though, hence the silver. Not a great pic, but I really liked the look of Phoenix being out of focus for some reason. I'll probably chuck this in scraps later when I get sick of looking at it. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
