Black Wool Coat by kawaiimon Black Wool Coat by kawaiimon
I've had Eiji2 and Oscar with me for the past few days so I've used it as a chance to test out a Zaoll sized coat pattern. Basically it's the same as the grey one I made for Avel but smaller.

The coat is made from wool flannel, is fully lined with working buttons. And it's for sale here on DoA.

Eiji - Zaoll Luv boy

Faceup by =hiritai, coat made by me.
Eiji belongs to =hiritai.

This coat is barely covering the cost of the fabric (ie: no profit to me), so if I had less expensive fabric I doubt I would make the coat that much cheaper if at all.

$30 a metre. Wool isn't cheap.

. . . touche.
note to self, never buy wool unless absolutely necessary.

O_O Holy crap. And how much of that would you actually be making back after all the stuff needed to make it is bought?

About $250 would be covering time to make the coat, $100 for materials, $50 for profit.

It's not. Pricing is a real juggling act between making sure you cover your expenses, and making sure it's at a price people would still pay for. Hence why some things I make for my dolls I would never make for sale, because I just wouldn't make anything from it.

That's pretty damn amazing and lovely, Ms. Mon. I'm always either too slow to see your pretty coats, or I just don't have a doll that would fit them! *laughs*

I love it, though. It's so gorgeous. If you ever get your hands on a Dollstown 15 boy body and want to make a peacoat, please do not hesitate. ;D

Thank you <333
Aeryn has Vin on a DT15 body now, so I'm sure one will be made in the future. ;)
